After stumbling across a vintage grain sack at a flea market, I was instantly drawn to the rustic and personal nature of the woven bags. The linen sacks were used to haul families' grains to the mill and each family personalized theirs with a custom stripe design. While many farms now achieve this effort through a more modern method, I hope the romantic nature of these customized sacks continues to live on, whether on small homesteads or through handmade collars and leashes for your dog.
